does flying with Basiq Air / TRANSAVIA involve precisely?
Basiq Air flies to 14 destinations in the
Netherlands, England, France, Spain, Italy and Portugal. Basiq Air
is a low-cost airline. Because you only pay for the basic service,
the fare for the flight itself can be kept low.
You yourself decide whether or not you want any extras that you
then pay for. Generally speaking, the earlier you book the lower
the fare.
Easy booking via the internet or via the Basiq Air Call Center (bookings
made via the Call Center incur a surcharge of 5.00 euro per person
both ways).
You fly without a ticket. You are simply issued a Confirmation number
when you book your flight.
Fast check-in at the Basiq Air check-in desk. Passengers can check
in from 2 hours prior to departure. The check-in desks close 30
minutes before the scheduled departure time. Passengers who report
to the check-in desk less than 40 minutes before the scheduled departure
time cannot be accepted on the flight. Your seat number is allocated
when you check-in. The earlier you check in the greater the choice
of seats. Seats cannot be reserved when booking.
The standard baggage allowance is 20 kg of hold baggage and 5 kg
of hand baggage. The fee for excess baggage is GBP 4,00 / EUR 5.00
per kg both ways.
There is an à la carte service on board Basiq Air flights.
You can select various drinks, sandwiches and snacks from the menu
and pay on board. A range of gift items are also sold on board,
including fragrances, jewellery, chocolates and gifts for children.
