ISTANBUL
- Paying a visit to the sultan |
 |
Colourful
markets displaying carpets and jewellery, white mosques
and narrow alleys shape the townscape of former Constantinople.
The over 3000 year old Turkish cultural capitol
links occident and orient. Visit the Topkapi palace,
the former residence of the sultan, the Aya Sofya
church, and the blue mosque. Leave the heat and
hecticness of this 12 million metropolis behind on a Bospurus
boat trip. Countless fish restaurants are inviting you
along the Sultanahmet Divan Yolu. Sounds tempting,
doesn’t it? Let Germanwings satisfy your appetite for vacation!
Escursions:There is a ferry boat service which
takes you to different islands in the Marmara Sea. Boats depart
from Eminonu. From Ortakay you can go for a short trip around the
bosphorus. Map
