Berlin - Carnival of cultures
|
 |
Welcome
to the city of contrasts!
Since reunification, Berlin has become a
blend of modern glass palaces, refurbished old-style houses, gyro
stands and sushi restaurants, mass-produced housing estates, and
luxury hotels. It is this mixture of old and new, of true and aspiring
Berliners, that makes Germany’s largest metropolis
so appealing and unique. The flair of Berlin attracts people from
all over the world. Not only during the Berlinale – the annual
film festival.
Art connoisseurs and bohemians feel at home here. Our tip:
start getting acquainted with Berlin by taking a trip along the
River Spree. Then you can walk to the places of interest straight
from the boat. Discover the most exciting city Germany has to offer
when you fly Germanwings.
